Sussia, West Bank, 16 October 2011
Sussia (also Susya)  was a Talmudic era Jewish village located in the South Hevron Hills that was occupied approximately between the 3rd and 8th centuries CE. No one knows why it was abandoned. There is a modern Jewish settlement nearby by the same name.
