Makhtesh Ramon (the Ramon Crater) is one of the natural wonders of the Negev Desert in Israel. The small town of Mitzpe Ramon sits on the edge of this spectacular erosion crater. I certainly plan on returning on a day with less haze. Scroll down for wildlife and archeology scenes.
